Fidelity Life Sciences organized a CME on Echo Conference. This CME was conducted with objective of sharing experiences of leading cardiologists and their learnings. The event started with warm welcome of all faculty members and famed doctor Dr. J Hiremath. Dr. J Hiremath has been the course director for last 5 years with Fidelity. Dr. Ashok Bhupali (Kolhapur), senior cardiologist in Maharashtra also graced the event. A wide range of echo cardio cases were discussed like stress echo, ASD and MV repair. Fidelity felicitated Dr. M S Hiremath for becoming the President Elect CSI all India.

Eminent Speakers: Dr Sunil Sathe. MD,DM (Card) a leading cardiologist of Pune Dr Mukund Penurkar. MD (Med), intensivist, diabelotogist. He is practicing in Kothrud & Warje area since 2005 who is  attached to Shashwat, Sanjeevan and Krishna Hospital. Dr Rituparna Shinde.DNB (Card). He is an eminent cardiologist from Pune who is attached to medical institutions like Sanjeevan and Sahyadri Hospital Dr. N. C. Ambekar MD. DM. (Nephro) a noted nephrologist in Pune There were around 60 physicians from Pune area to attend CME.   The CME was started by Dr. Penurkar by introducing the faculties & schedule of programme First lecture was delivered by Dr. Sunil Sathe on hypertension and new insights & treatment of stroke & BP. This was followed by Dr. Shinde, topics were dyslipidemia management in 2015 and beyond it & subtopics were high intensity statin therapy, statin pros –cons & trial supporting the use of Omega 3 fatty acid for high TG. Some interesting topics like use of beta blocker, diuretics & calcium channel blockers in dialysis patients was furnished by Dr. Ambekar, noted nephrologist in Pune. It was followed by quiz competition. Speakers were felicitated by giving mementoes. Dr. Penurkar appraised the efforts taken by team Fidelity to make the event successful.

Fidelity Life Sciences organized a CME on “Cardiac Diagnostics from ECG to OCT and Practical Interpretation of HbA1c in clinical context” on Saturday, 10th Oct 2015, at Hotel Keys, Mahabaleshwar. Eminent faculties were Dr. Sunil Sathe and Dr. Sanjay Agarwal. Chairpersons were Dr. Ajay Bhamhanalkar, Dr. Satish Gosavi, Dr. M. K. Inamdar and Dr. Vinay Wagh. This CME was conducted with the aim of developing the knowledge and skills of physicians. Dr. Sunil Sathe an eminent Cardiologist enlightened different steps involved in Cardiac Diagnostics. Dr. Sanjay Agarwal, eminent diabetologist from Pune discussed about the areas of interpretation of HbA1c, pitfall of HbA1c, use of HbA1c in therapeutic decision making & HbA1c & CVD. At last, an interactive question & answer session was carried out, around two hundred physicians attended the meet.
